I’ve been on vacation the last little bit, hence the lack of posts. Complain all you want, but enjoy the last year summed up in 40 seconds.

Remember those tilt photography time lapse videos I posted a while back? Well this video is better than all of them, because it features a demolition derby. Sick.

This really looks like it should be an ad. For converse maybe? But I don’t think it is. Anyway, it’s pretty damn well done.

I for one already thought Legos were a form of art, but now check this out:

Awww yeaaaaa…that’s classy. These works of art may not be a $60,000 lifesize replica of yourself, but they’re pretty damn sweet.
You can see all 20 Lego sculptures right here.

Yea, the song’s kinda “boo hoo I’m a depressed 13 year old”, but it’s also kinda catchy. Sometimes you just want to sit back and think “wow, that video looks crazy cool.” Here you go, enjoy.

Click here for a collection of awesome movie posters, all designed for the Polish market. That one up there? “Weekend at Bernie’s”. This isn’t some joke about stupid Polish designers and throwing the submarine’s screen door without a pin. Wait, what?
Anyway, enjoy. This is some cool shit.

I know you don’t necessarily give gifts for the high holy days…but if someone was wondering what I might be interested in, it would definitely be a robot painting.

One of my creative directors sent this great video out last week. From swissmiss:
In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan, armed with a reel-to-reel tape deck, snuck into John Lennon’s hotel room in Toronto and convinced John to do an interview about peace. 38 years later, Jerry has produced a film about it. Using the original interview recording as the soundtrack, director Josh Raskin has woven a visual narrative which tenderly romances Lennon’s every word in a cascading flood of multipronged animation. Raskin marries the terrifyingly genius pen work of James Braithwaite with masterful digital illustration by Alex Kurina, resulting in a spell-binding vessel for Lennon’s boundless wit, and timeless message.
Enjoy.

It’s just so…tragically beautiful. A bunch more high quality, high speed images of stuff blowing up can be found in this flickr set
